Wow, time flies when... your... having.... fun? (maybe not)

I'm not going to tell you ALL about whats been going on, lets just suffice to say, there have been tears and laughter and anger etc. (oooh melodrama).

Seriously though, some issues have arisen with my trip, they have been sorted out for the most part leading to the conclusion that I MUST GET OUT OF CANADA NOW! (kidding) But I really do need a break as things are just starting to wear me right out and I'm getting close to the end of my tether.

However, in three days I will be hopping a flight to jolly ol' england where I will get drunk, with british people, and lounge in pools. Then I will go to France where I will get drunk off wine and sit on beaches and be all hoity toity with my HUGE back pack sporting all sorts of Canadian flags and insignias.

Yes so that is that, and I would have enlightening thoughts, really I would. But I've just had a final which killed most of my brain cells and have to start to study for another. I feel kinda ill too.... (whine whine whine)

I'll do a happy update when I'm here on my last day, and maybe one tomorrow, if you're all good little boys and girls...

Its SO stressful, I hate school and I wish it was over, I'm so tired and I'm so totally stressed, AND on top of that I'm going to change my travel plans, AGAIN!!!

Heres the story...

Being the uninformed little girl that I am was happily on my way to book my train ticket from London to Paris. Then, of course, the inquisitive side took over (as usual) and I think to myself "Well Lauren, this train thing is kinda nice, but maybe you can find a cheap flight!". So the little fox armed with her wonderful internet research abilities begins her quest...

I went to google, and found one of those ugly annoying sites that doesn't tell you which airline your flying with etc (ICK). So I think to myself, lets just see what British Airways has to say about this and so I log on to their site, with some difficulty, as they won't let Canadians book flights leaving from London. So sneaky like I am, I beat the system, and "pretend" like I'm from the UK (ie I scroll down the handy little drop down menu till I hit United Kingdom and then hit GO!).

The end result 64.75 pounds roundtrip!

I'm astonished, yes literally my hand goes to my mouth in awe, it is infact CHEAPER to fly from Heathrow to Charles DeGaulle and back than it is to take the train.

So I'm like buy buy buy. and the website goes... no no no!  

Apparently they cannot accept credit cards that are not from your "country of origin", meaning, I can't book a ticket that way. (As I am "from" the UK)

So I go " Hey no biggie, I'll book the same flight through the Canadian part of the website!". Oooh but that, that would be FAR too simple, they will ONLY let me book from Canadian departures (Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal).

and then in the series of events.....

 FLAMES WIN GAME SEVEN AND GO ON IN THE STANLEY CUP FINALS, YAY THERE WILL BE A ROUND TWO!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So I go to their FAQs, nothing! I sent them a little message we'll see what they say, and I've stolen their phone number to call them tomorrow.

Frankly this would be fantastic, super and just GREAT (yay for saving money!)

So yes, :D welcome to my world, in the mean time, if anyone knows any good free sites that would let me upload pictures I'd love you for it forever.

So the past day has been, kinda crushing for me and Seb, but thats ok, we're toughies and we'll pull through.

ANYWAYS, Horrors of horrors, I tried to get flames tickets, actually, let me rephrase, my mom, my dad, tracy and I tried to get flame tickets, they were sold out in less than a minute.

So we've check affiliates, and ebay and there isnt much.

I need to see a game before I go away, and I'm leaving pretty quick! (in just over two weeks). Anywho, I think, I shall make a screwdriver and get drunk and go find some doughnuts with tracy. (I"M SO FAT)

Eeee, well I'm happy!

I got my paper back from my History prof, and it ended up at a B. This made me happy and just in general yay. Its still snowy, but one of my work boys rang me up tonight while I was studying to go hit some golf balls. He gives the best hugs and its our good bye time before I leave, he's like my little work brother and I'm going to miss him TONS.

I spend a good deal of time with Laura today. Love her to bits also, we have similar tastes and thoughts on SO many things. She showed me her sorority pics and we gossiped about first year and were the annoying girls in history. BUT we did get a good little laugh out of the prof, he loves us now, something about bonus marks on the final ;) we're superstars don't cha know!

So yes, I'm going to send myself off to bed, unofficially tomorrow's my last day of lectures, which means, BSD, not that I know what the hell I'm going to do, the snow has totally screwed up alot of our plans, but we'll figure something out.

Anyways, for those of you who read I hope you're all doing really well and I lover you all very muchly!
